I chose a patch of tall grass near the side walk. At the time it wwas 8:16 pm with the weather being cloudy, the air being humid from a night of rain, and the temperature being 17ºC. I chose this spot because it was kind of isolated from bushes so it should be a hotspot for insects. Some qulities of the area you can see from the photo is that grass is a bit tall, the dirt is damp, and the area is genearlly damp. All I could smell was the mustiness from the air, the dirt, and the wet concrete. The grass felt nice in my hands, the wetness felt cool. But the air didn't feel as pleasent, the humidity made the air feel warm in a negative way. It was strangely quiet, there was no noise, no birds chirping, no bees buzzing, there wasn't even wind to hear. upon clser inspection of the tall grass, I saw couple beetles but I couldn't distinguish the species, I saw a worm, and some dandelions. For how I got here, I walked but most normal modes of transportation would work since this spot was by a sidewalk. Under normal circumstances, this area would be a normal place for interactions with other people since it's by a sidewalk. But with the pandemic going on, there was zero interaction with anyone. I didn't even see anyone walk by.
